  I have worked with Jan for the past year, and I can promise you that there is no one more dedicated to making sure that clients are properly protected. We work towards growing and fixing our processes so that they are more beneficial to our clients. Jan values the State Farm name, and goes above and beyond to make sure that we deliver our promise to always be there for you. Between baking cookies, and fighting for clients, we truly believe in being your hometown agent. Jan is focused on doing the right thing, asking the right questions, and making sure that all of your risks are covered. Jan loves meeting with all of our clients to ensure that all discounts are there, and that their financial future is protected. There is not a place we are not willing to drive to meet someone, and our door is always open. I have watched Jan be at the office at 7:00 am, work/meet with clients all day, then drive past Atlanta to meet someone at 7:00pm, and still email me a 1:00am about new ideas. I admire her dedication, not only to her clients, but to our team. She is focused on really helping us become the best that we can be. I know for a fact that I have grown more as a person, I have learned to think quicker on my feet, and how to be a true Office Manager because of Jan. She pulls her weight in the office, and we all are willing to help each other out in any way that we can. We are a family in our office, and I enjoy every day that I get to be a part of this team.   Absolutely horrible. If I could give her negative stars I would. I had the "pleasure" of working for Jan for State Farm and let me tell you she is nothing like the front that she puts on. She is rude to her employees, told us to put in inaccurate information on applications to make her look better on reports, and doesn't really care about her customers just wants to write their business so she can make money. Her agency has been struggling for going on a year because she can't keep employees long enough to actually start caring about the customers that she has She will act like she cares about you and maybe even make you feel like she will genuinely be there for you but that is just to get you in, when really she doesn't care about you at all, after you give her that first bit of money for a policy she won't care what happens to you after that. The way she carries herself seems to be professional however behind closed doors she likes to start rumors in the office and gossip about her customers and other employees. I almost made the mistake of switching my insurance policies over to her office and thank God I didn't before I left. The nicest thing I can say about her is that she is just a bitter old woman with nothing better to do then make the people underneath her feel worthless. I feel sorry for anyone who will have to deal with her for their insurance needs or for anything for that matter.

  Jan Rooney's State Farm insurance company is the best insurance company I have ever had. I feel like family. My husband has had a stroke and the office even sent a card signed by everyone in the office. Everyone there is over the top nice and more than happy to do anything to help their customers. The prices are great and even with added renters insurance it has always been cheaper than any other insurance I have had. The quality of our policy is the best too. Normally cheap means low expectations but not with Jan. She and her staff do the best to give you what meets your needs and the best prices out there. I would recommend them to anyone. If you need great insurance consider making Jan part of the family!! Love y'all!!! Allison Mccune
